Surviving Winter Syria
SYRIA; one of the most dangerous places on the planet is preparing for another year of freezing weather and little resources to prepare for it.
At Human Care Syria we have been assessing the needs of Syrians living in camps over the past 6 years. These assessments are in depth and we take on the projects that we know are not only foreseeable but are most needed. Last year we successfully assisted 25,054 people in the cold winter months. This year we hope to reach many more.
As the temperatures in Syria severely drop, displaced Syrians living in camps must endure severe rain and snow mounting onto the strain they are already enduring. This winter we are focusing on the basic needs of what these families need to survive.
Fuel and makeshift tents are the focus of our efforts this winter for families in besieged Eastern Damascus, Aleppo and Idlib.
